Product Specialist (Inside Sales)
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Product Specialist with expertise in industrial process equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging customers, providing product information, generating sales leads, and driving revenue growth. Your strong technical understanding of valves, steam specialties, valve automation and other process equipment will be vital in delivering effective solutions to our customers and meeting their unique requirements.
- Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with existing and potential customers through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels. Understand customer needs, address inquiries, and provide detailed product information. Build and maintain strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Technical Expertise: Develop an in-depth understanding of our industrial process equipment. Effectively communicate technical specifications and product features to customers.
- Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial process equipment market.
- Solution-Oriented Approach: Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate industrial process equipment solutions to address their needs.
- Order Processing and Management: Accurately process customer orders, ensuring adherence to pricing guidelines, delivery schedules, and customer specifications.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer concerns, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- CRM Utilization and Reporting: Utilize our CRM system to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and maintain accurate records.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of inside sales experience in the industrial process equipment industry. Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and meeting sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of industrial process equipment. Familiarity with industry standards, applications, and specifications.
- Sales Skills: Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships. Ability to identify customer needs, offer appropriate solutions, and close sales deals. Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Customer-Focused Approach: Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Ability to understand customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Location: Currently live in the Denver Metro area or are willing to relocate.
- ERP Knowledge: Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is desirable.
